Defer Windows 10 Feature Updates via Group Policy

  1. Install AMDX GP templates
    1. Download the latest Windows 10 ADMX pack.
      1. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=56880
    2. Run the downloaded file and note where it dumps it's files to. 
    3. Copy the PolicyDefinitions folder that came from the installer to C:\Windows\sysvol\domain\policies
  2. Open Group Policy Management
  3. You should then be able to craft a new GP, or modify an existing Windows Update policy.  
  4. Computer --> Policies --> Administrative Templates --> Windows Components --> Windows Update --> Windows Update for Business
    1. Select when Preview Builds and Feature Updates are received
      1. Enabled
      2. Semi-Annual Channel
      3. After a Preview Build or Feature Update is released, defer receiving it for this many days: 90
      4. OK
